The Curls N' Convo Natural Hair Summit is a unique platform that brings together individuals from all over the world who are passionate about embracing and celebrating their natural hair. Going beyond solely a product-based business, I have initiated this movement that's centered around representation, celebration, and affirmation. The purpose of this event is to empower fellow naturalistas and black women in general along their hair journey and to foster a sense of community amongst like-minded individuals. This summit is a platform for sharing experiences, natural hair care 101, and to spread self-love amongst ourselves and others who look like us. It serves as a space where black women, black men, and black girls can come together, feel seen, feel heard, and support one another.
By creating this Summit, my mission is to break the norms set by society and redefine beauty standards for melanated individuals, covered girls, naturalistas, and those alike. Through my brand, Designs By Dij, and the Natural Hair Summit, I am dedicated to providing a space that boosts confidence and self-love, while championing the natural hair movement.
TOGETHER, we empower one another and embrace the beauty of our unique hair textures and melanin-rich skin!
